Computer
networking is a process of discussing information and distributed sources
between two or more linked pcs. The distributed sources can include printer,
Fax computer, Hard drive, CD - DVD Rom, Data source and the information. Your
laptop or pc can be separated into a small or lan, a social media between pcs
in a building of a office (LAN), mid-sized system (MAN), a system between two
offices in a city and Wide system (WAN) a system between the pc systems, one is
regionally and the other can be thousands of miles away in any other country
around the globe.
WAN
connection is achieved by a system system known as "Router". The World
Wide Web is the largest WAN system, where millions pc systems from all over the
globe and linked with each other.
Networking
is the practice of linking two or more pcs or gadgets with each other. The
connection can be hard wired or wireless. Your laptop or pc can be categorized
in different ways, depends on the geographical place as mentioned above.
There are
two main types of the pc system client-server and fellow to fellow. In the
consumer hosting server processing, a computer plays a big part known as
hosting server, where the data files, information in the form of web pages,
documents or worksheet data files, video, database & sources are placed.
All the
other pcs in the client/server system are known as clients and they get the
information from the hosting server. In the fellow to fellow system all the pc
systems play the same part and no computer act as a central hosting server. In
the significant businesses all over the globe client-server system model is in
significant use.
A system
topology describes the framework, design or layout of a system. There are
different topologies like bus, ring, celebrity, capable, hybrid etc. The
celebrity topology is most widely used system topology. In the celebrity
topology, all the pc systems in the system are linked with a central system
such as hub or change. Thus forms a celebrity like framework. If the
hubs/switch isn't able to work for any reason then all the connection and
interaction between the pc systems of a system will be stopped.
In the
system, a common interaction terminology is used by the pc systems and the
system gadgets and this terminology is known as methods. The most widely used
and popular methods online and in the home and other networks is known as
TCP/IP. TCP/IP is not a single protocol but it is a package of several methods.
